What Our Customers Say

Below are a few testimonials from our customers from over the years:

“This is a huge store. Nooks and crannies filled with all kinds of gifts. A really nice jewelry boutique and a great selection of Christmas items. I always buy my t-shirts here. Great selection and nice fabrics, not cheap stuff that twists and falls apart the first time your wash it. There is a large selection of Tervis tumblers, pet stuff, college themes, kitchen stuff galore. Don’t miss the homemade fudge counter. You can spend a couple of hours in here. A worthwhile stop to shop!”

“We heard about this place from some friends and decided to make a detour on the way home from a recent beach trip. My friends description did not do the place justice. I was amazed by the endless rooms packed with all kinds of wonderful trinkets. Especially liked the nautical/beach themed merchandise and the Christmas tree area – got lost in there a couple of times and could have spent half the day there. Beautiful selection of LED-lighted canvas pictures – got one with lighthouses and they even offered at checkout to make sure it worked. Great place for wonderful finds to suit all tastes and décor.”

“We always make a visit here when in the area. A nice choice of gifts/merchandise for all ages. One can also sit outside on a bench and play the ring on a string get it on the nail game while the ladies continue to shop.”

“If we shopped nowhere else during our vacation, this would be the one place we’d be sure to visit. There is literally something for the whole family and all price ranges. From seashells to t-shirts, stuffed animals to touristy mugs, all the way to gorgeous upscale coastal décor, it’s impossible to leave empty handed. This shop has grown from a tiny building to a sprawling location, but has managed to keep all of its charm. I have not even mentioned the Christmas shop! Whether you are adding an ornament to your tree to commemorate your vacation, or adding to your collectible figurines, village, etc., this is the place to do it. There is also a wonderful jewelry department, carrying everything from seashell necklaces on the lower end to beautiful sterling pieces. Don’t forget to add a beachy charm to your bracelet every year! Plan ahead and bring a cooler so you can stock it with Callahan’s delicious fudge – and look for coupons in Sunny Day for fudge, t-shirts, and other items. You might want to bring your cell phone with you. It is easy for the older kids to shop in the Pirate treasures while one parent takes the little ones to the toys or to watch the Hermit Crabs and another shops in the breakables. Don’t forget to look for numerous gifts for pets, too. Note: This is not the type of shop that can be found all along the Grand Strand that we refer to as “junk shops.” Those can be fun, too, but Callahan’s is NOT that. There is really too much variety to mention. Just go see for yourself!”
